EARTH

Water & Earth is about looking for inspiration inside ourselves and waking up to them. I often find what I want to do when I go to sleep, or when I simply find a quiet moment to meditate, clear my mind to let in fresh ideas or answers to some doubt I may have about some situation. I am lucky to live meters away from the sea, so the energy around this place is vivid, strong and I can actually hear the sea´s roars at night. It is the Atlantic Ocean so it can be very present and seem violent at times, but the more wild it shatters, the more energy is active. I did her face with small coloured balls, but each and everyone has fish scales drawn on them. The fish, Carpas are also a photograph I took in Berlin. Her hair I made from brick walls and details from a cupboard from a corridor in a palace in Istanbul, and also the flowers I photographed in a cave in Turkey.
